Explore Psalm 23

Psalm 23 begins with belonging: “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.” Before the green pastures, before the valley, and before the overflowing cup, David names the One who cares for him. That relationship is the heart of the Shepherd & Lamb Psalm 23 collection.

These Christian T-shirts bring the passage into everyday life through graphite-style artwork and a restrained palette. A shepherd, a lamb, a winding path, and a cup each draw attention to a different part of the psalm. The clothing carries a reminder; the meaning begins in Scripture.

The Shepherd’s care, verse by verse

Psalm 23:1 — Belonging and provision

“The LORD is my shepherd” is personal. David speaks of trust in the Lord’s care, rather than confidence in his own ability to provide everything he needs. The Lord Is My Shepherd tee gives that relationship a visible form through the shepherd and lamb. “I shall not want” expresses dependence on Him; it is not a promise that every desire will be fulfilled.

Psalm 23:2 — Rest and refreshment

Green pastures and still waters describe the Shepherd leading His sheep to what sustains them. The Green Pastures and Still Waters designs invite a slower look at that care. Their quiet imagery gives the words room to breathe.

Psalm 23:3 — Restoration and direction

“He restoreth my soul” speaks to our need for renewal. The He Restoreth My Soul tee reflects that tenderness through a shepherd holding a lamb. The verse also moves forward: He leads in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Paths of Righteousness uses a winding landscape to suggest guidance when the whole road is not yet visible.

Psalm 23:4 — Presence in the valley

The valley is part of the psalm. David’s confidence rests in “thou art with me,” not in the absence of danger. I Will Fear No Evil and Thou Art With Me hold those two thoughts together: real difficulty and the comfort of the Shepherd’s presence. Faith does not require pretending that the valley is easy.

Psalm 23:5 — A cup that overflows

The table, anointing, and overflowing cup speak of generous care even in the presence of enemies. My Cup Runneth Over turns the cup into a simple graphite study. Its purpose is to prompt gratitude for God’s provision, rather than make a promise of wealth or an effortless life.

Psalm 23:6 — Goodness, mercy, and home

The closing verse looks beyond a single peaceful moment. David trusts God’s goodness and mercy throughout his days and looks toward dwelling in the Lord’s house. The botanical artwork of Goodness and Mercy accompanies that enduring assurance.

Why graphite, light colors, and Supima cotton?

The graphite treatment keeps the artwork soft in tone while allowing line, shading, and detail to carry the message. Light garment colors give the drawings space. The result is a quieter expression of Christian apparel, suited to a conversation at a café, a day with family, or a familiar Sunday routine.

The current collection uses substantial 6 oz jersey made with 100% American-grown SUPIMA® cotton. The fabric’s smooth surface and soft feel complement the detailed artwork. Individual product pages include the available colors, garment measurements, and care instructions so you can choose your piece with confidence.

Carry the passage with you
