Our Story

Faith was never meant to stay hidden.

A calling carried forward

Shepherd & Lamb began long before the first design was created.

I am a husband, a father to five beautiful daughters, and someone who has felt called to serve others for many years. That calling once led me to study pastoral theology with the hope of helping people find and follow Christ.

Supporting a growing family eventually required more time at work and less time in the classroom. Although my path changed, the desire to serve never left. I continued to believe that God could use my experiences, abilities, and everyday conversations for a greater purpose.

Preparation in ordinary places

Nothing was wasted.

Over the years, I learned to work with computers, create graphics, build websites, manage servers, and solve problems. My career also placed me in front of people every day—listening to their stories, answering questions, and learning how much a meaningful conversation can matter.

At the time, these may have seemed like unrelated skills. Looking back, they were preparing me to build something that could bring faith, creativity, and conversation together.

That something became Shepherd & Lamb.
The calling can remain even when the path changes.

When faith became the foundation

A season that changed us.

Seven months into building Shepherd & Lamb, cancer entered our family’s story.

My wife—the heart of our family and an incredible mother to our daughters—was diagnosed with sarcoma. For several months, work on the brand nearly stopped as our attention turned toward treatment, family, prayer, and simply taking life one day at a time.

We prayed more. We leaned more deeply into our faith. We were reminded that Scripture is not merely something to display when life is comfortable—it is truth to hold onto when the road becomes uncertain.

When I returned to Shepherd & Lamb, I returned with greater clarity. This could not be just another clothing company. It needed to reflect the faith carrying our family and help carry that truth into the lives of others.

Every work begins with Scripture. The message is studied, interpreted through artwork, and placed on premium apparel designed for everyday life—not as decoration for decoration’s sake, but as something meaningful.

I have always wanted to help others find Christ. A verse, an image, or a few words can open a door to encouragement, prayer, a deeper understanding of Scripture, or a conversation someone was waiting to have.

We cannot know where every conversation will lead. We can only create with intention, carry the message faithfully, and trust God with what happens next.
